How Social Media Has Affected People Search Tools
How Social Media Has Affected People Search Tools
The demise of The Net Detective
But social media, and especially facebook.com, changes a lot, you know... When there are a true billion numbers of members, that becomes the largest people search database. You just need to log in to your facebook page and search up in the top web form. Search for anything. A private name, a local business company, an interest or a hobby group. You will get a lot of unknown results in there, too. Same with Twitter. They don't have Google's sophistication with specific searching, do they? Not by a long shot. MySpace is worse...
So although social media sites have more people in their person lookup, business searching databases -- use Google search engine or a specialized background check service like Inteligator.com because they filter and find data better! They can cover American criminal records, births and deaths, marriage and divorce data, adoptions, Court findings, liens, property and bankruptcies and many hundreds more areas of information search, subject to Federal and State Law(s) and empowered by the U.S. federal Freedom Of Information Act. Stay within your local laws when searching with such a very powerful tool, as Inteligator.

If you are looking for the best price and value with web based or Internet detective sites, I suggest you visit here to compare online detective sites. This site has been around since about 1999 so it is an authority site in the online investigation niche. Good services are accessible there at best price...
Note that this info is strictly for the USA only. No detective site is really global. Why? It's because laws are so very, very different in the various countries. Even comparing the United States to Canada. Australia, for instance, has extremely strict laws :: The Privacy Act 1988 for instance prevents any public records from being searchable on The Internet or - available, publicly!
It makes it difficult to assist anyone, too. You constantly need signed releases or full legal papers and it is a nightmare of red tape.
Anyway, just a quick note today to let you start comparing these various detective sites like Inteligator, Net Detective, PeopleSearch.com and all the others that have been competing since about last Century online! Good luck with the above site.

Announcing the elite, professional version of NetDetective, which is not limited to police or federal agents usage -- this law enforcement edition is the PLUS version which requires a monthly membership. Don't hesitate because it does more complete background checks and lets you dig deeper into public records such as county court: liens, bankruptcies, real estate property records, marriage records, divorce records and adoption files.
Get Social Security death index info and the verification of a SSN for state and year of original issue. More too, such as DUI and DWI and DMV records. The government has co-operated in the provision of public information because of federal freedom of information. Under FOIA provisions, even the FBI has to release information - for example, on famous people, celebrities, etc., as shown below in The Missing FBI Chapter!

You can now more easily protect your local community from child predators by searching the registered sex offender list by local zip code. Federal law allows the publishing of exact names and addresses of local registered sex offenders.
This is because these sick individuals are compulsive re-offenders and it's just better for school staff, parents and police to know exactly who they are and where they live. There is also an element of "name and shame" in an attempt to deter people from becoming sexual predators.
There are two basic systems that I am aware of for accessing these National Registry database resources of criminal records:
- Inteligator - gives a very complete background check
- National Alert Registry - gives you a predator map (trial.. see below)
So do visit the information web sites to learn tons more about this unfortunate social necessity! We wish to do our utmost to protect children in all American local communities. Help us by telling other people about this investigative blog today!

A new wiki on pbwiki reveals how there has been a steady, growing evolution
of detective sites from 1995 to the present day.
First there was Web Detective, then there was Net Detective and now there's
Webstigate based on the C.I.S or Complete Investigation Services web based
integrated database searching system. It can return a 20 year address history
in some cases, based on a reverse phone search using a web form.
Go see for yourself at Internet Investigator Net Detective development post
on the pbwiki. Great site for your web presence, by the way!

UNCLAIMED ASSET SEARCH:
The thought, the very idea..
of free money may seem absurd.
However, unclaimed money is very
real. Each year, thousands of people
lose track of their bank accounts,
security deposits, cash, stocks,
bonds, refunds, royalties, mutual
funds, un-cashed paychecks, safety
deposit boxes and other property. In
addition, deceased family members
often fail to leave behind
up-to-date financial records,
leaving their executors unable to
locate all of their wills'
beneficiaries.

If you're getting hassled out by prank callers, or you're being - worse still - harassed by telemarketers or a bad predator, with evil intentions, then try this name and address search by reverse cell phone number lookup because it's the best service online today for the United States!
I believe it's operated by ReverseMobile.com They purchase bulk database access from a huge range of person information services for the USA. There are also valuable international searches in many countries across the globe, too.

Bonus: Reverse Phone Lookup
Net Detective Plus allows you to do these much-in-demand searches, after you join up. You might have just a phone number of a tradesman, for example, who did a really bad job and ripped you off - - so you want to do a reverse search on that number and discover the name and address behind the shifty person? No problem.
You might want to contact a long lost friend but you've discovered their phone number is unlisted for privacy reasons? No problem. Use Net Detective quickly, online to do a search for their unlisted telephone number.
There are many government departments in the U.S. sharing their database information with you under The Freedom Of Information Act, a Federal Law. For example, SSA.gov or The Social Security Administration, for SSN verification and the searchable death index.
Also, the DMV in California, and the county Court Records and state Criminal Records. These are just a few examples of files and records now available to you online, using the trusted web services of Net Detective. Compare 4 or 5 Internet Detective sites at that last link and see the difference for yourself.

Most birth records in the U.S. are handled by the registrar in the county where the birth took place. In the early days in America, these birth records were also copied and compiled in microfilms and microfiches to avoid the wear-and-tear of the original paper form records.
Thankfully today, most birth records can now be accessed from your personal computer, online, for a faster and less tedious birth record search. You usually start births and deaths searching by joining Net Detective web based service online.

Net Detective.com
I've been involved with this company since 1997 and I've seen all the changes in their products. The first Net Detective com was an ebook-like Windows(R) software application that you had to download. It needed a security key and had tabs inside for selecting different information areas, such as Social Security death index, or DMV, or criminal records or FBI.
In 2001-2002 it developed into a fully searchable web based service. Nowadays there is a massive in-house database of 211,500,000 US citizens. It's based in Deland, Florida. This is very fast growth, and the company has had over 800,000 happy customers so they've got to have something good going for them! There is also the National Alert Registry for finding local sex-offenders in your zip code area.

What exactly is a reversephone or reverselookup Info Hub? Well, the one I found online today is an authoritative hub which includes a collection of useful articles and items about private investigative work. It's a simple web page but one which has particularly useful information about things such as ID theft and evidence, as well as links through to reverse phone lookup sites and tools.
Do pay a visit here and enjoy your investigative reading. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Tools and Systems
Investigating in the U.S.A. has necessitated a change to the internet world.
This began to occur from 1995 to 1996 following the release of the investigative
tools: Net Detective and online investigator. Afterwards, these services resulted in scores of
copycats attempting to benefit from the boom of internet information services.
The tools started out as simple, nearly ebook-like software programs but nowadays
they're practically 100% internet based subscription services, which appear to work
neater and with increased effectiveness. They're also provided as once-only payment systems
with approximately 3 years researching - or monthly paid services in the instance of
Net Detective Plus. This last mentioned item is provided more as a professional person search tool, following endorsement from the National Association of individual Private detectives.
Publishers maintain that their search systems are utilised every day by hundreds of law enforcement investigators over the U.S.A., and that the overall number of users or clients in the national population of the United States today is more than 750,000 people.
A different statistic laid claim to is that company databases today deliver searchable in-house files on more than 211,500,000 American citizens. The legality of exploring such private records is ascribed to the F.O.I.A., which is a Federal US law. To abide by privacy and record book updating demands are two additional requirements that this author has not thus far explored.
The electronic delivery of information may justifiedly lead-in to a claim like:
"Imagine becoming an expert web based detective in about sixty seconds flat!"
The candidate is then expected to: "visualize yourself, seated at your home or business office computer, with all the ability and search systems of an experienced private detective at your fingertips."
Such systems are certainly effective search tools that can fascinate the imaginativeness of being able to immediately discover what a person's criminal record includes. Or what liens or tribunal judgements have been ordered against a person in the United States of America.
Or to verify a Social Security SSN or find out particulars of births, deaths, marriage ceremonies*, divorce and adoption, or DMV files.
A conventional private detective. or investigator for the govt may begin to realise that what seemed intricate at first glance is actually unbelievably easy to do with a web search tool like Net Detective Plus!
This is for the most part because US Public Records are searchable in cyberspace. State and Fed govt departments like DMV, the Social Security Administration and courtroom houses (Department of Justice) have really carefully brought out a few databases like Court and criminal records.
Evidently, the cautiousness is founded on concerns of infringing the counterbalancing privacy legislation which appears at first glimpse to be in contravention of the Freedom Of Information Act.
Nevertheless, each part of law has its particular fields of practical application.
Several discerning uses for the internet search tools are pre employment screening, tenant background checking up on, legal bureau information collecting, private investigating and practice of law enforcement. It is a testimonial to the North American people that openness and transparentness may genuinely endure in the USA, as certainly The United States Constitution always meant.
Introduce the Information Age of The World Wide Web and the search systems come out like wizardry for people to get at huge stores of personal Data.
Conclusion: Net Detective will turn out to be extremely useful to both recreational investigators and professional persons alike. Ease of Internet use is the main reason for the tool's quick uptake and popularity.

In the United States there are many reasons why you might want to do a reverse lookup of a phone number to arrive at someone's name and address.
It could be a questionable business matter and you only had a telephone number to go by, albeit a business landline number or a mobile or cell phone number. It could be a personal matter or a heavy-breathing offender or a prank caller, where the caller ID is visible in your phone's display.
In the second case you just see a missed call or a received call identified by the telephone number - - and you'd really, really like to find out what name and address go with that phone number! You might want to investigate the matter further, or put information in the hands of your local police.
Reverse look-up then is ideal for you. You simply go to the web based service of choice and type the number into an online form. In Canada, this can be done through Infospace and in the USA you can use NetDetective. You'll definitely get name and address revealed in a matter of seconds....
Many people actively search for free reverse cell phone lookup and that is a little harder but is not impossible to find at all in the U.S. The shift towards mobility and cellphones has been massive and so the directories are starting to appear now that give you these facilities for searching cell phone numbers as well as fixed landlines.
Convergence of digital services including The Internet and GPS, music radio and MP3 as well as photo taking has clearly been achieved now on PDA's and mobile phones and the landline may eventually become a thing of the past.
Let's just hope that broadband services get faster and cheaper on our mobile devices.
